The Chances of Divorce Are Inversely Proportional to the Couple’s Age
The title of my post may sound like some kind of a mathematical equation or a theory of physics. But the meaning of the title is literal and plain. The chances of divorce are inversely proportional to the couple’s age. Elderly people with good education are unlikely to file the divorce papers when compared to young people with less or average education. Or that is what a recent finding says.
The Observer recently carried an article about a study conducted in the US that corroborates this fact. They say that with experience comes knowledge. This is true because by the age of 30 or so a person would have met with a lot of members of the opposite sex and this would be of great help to them when it comes to choosing a life partner. After all it is very natural for one to fail several times before succeeding once.

The article also puts forward the fact that people who are impulsive are more likely to marry early and sign divorce papers within a short span. There are many reasons that contribute to divorce. There is little room for doubt if one says that all those reasons don’t stand a chance when it comes to couples who married late in their life. Their experience and education is what helps them well.
Education plays a main role in the stability of a marriage too. One who is well-educated will surely make more money than an average person. The article also makes special mention about how first time parents can learn to balance their personal life with their profession. This is very crucial because bringing up children is an integral part of family life and it would sound the death knell to a marriage if either of the spouses fails to take good care of the baby.
Another new research which is spoken about in the article says that a person’s performance in university was linked to his/her later life. University dropouts are more likely to part ways with their spouses than those who passed out of university in flying colours. Those who were regular to college and finished the given works on time carried forward the same habit to their workplace too. Contrarily, those who were not, continued to be the same in their work too. This finding comes as a stunning revelation to the whole world. Not only about signing divorce papers to formally end a marriage, this study also gives more details about knowing well about one’s own self.
