The Chances of Divorce Are Inversely Proportional to the Couple’s Age

The title of my post may sound like some kind of a mathematical equation or a theory of physics. But the meaning of the title is literal and plain. The chances of divorce are inversely proportional to the couple’s age. Elderly people with good education are unlikely to file the divorce papers when compared to young people with less or average education. Or that is what a recent finding says.

Reconciliation After Rifts

Recently I read a news article about life after divorce, released by Agence-France Presse (AFP). It spoke about how couples who are contemplating divorce can save their marriage if at all they wish to do such a thing. And the advice and service given in the article comes from none other than India, the country whose tradition and social civilization date back to a very long time. One out of a hundred marriages ends in divorce in India, whereas in the case of the USA it is one in two. Canada is proximal to the US geographically as well as culturally. So it is very much probable that the rate of divorce in Canada is proximal to America’s as well.
